*Anything made by Maho Film* It's a wrap boys, show's over!

People give ENGI so much flack when studios like Maho Film exist.

Perhaps you can provide some context for those of us, not in the know.

Glad this is being animated and we have a release date. This is one of my favorite light novel series. So I have my fingers crossed for the anime adaptation.

Hopefully we will get a new light novel volume soon to tide us over.

Have to say the PV gives pretty generic Isekai vibes.

Is there more than 29 chapters of the manga or are they ignoring the manga and going with the novel (or light novel) instead?

There are 30 but If they adapted it from the manga adaptation it would have been written during the anime annoucement, to begin with those cases are extremely rare. Anyway i read both the LN and manga and there aren't much difference.

They're based on the light novel designs.

Looks like the next english manga volume will come out next month, while the next light novel which was released last year has no english release date yet.

Not going to write off the anime adaptation until I watch it. Got my fingers crossed hoping that it won't be a total loss. If the actual animation is fairly good and the story not choppy, I can live with that.

On related news, Cross Infinite World which has the English license for the light novels, will leave BookWalker Global due to the latter's ownership change;

At least it's a better situation than with Hanashi Media, which had to remove the light novels Another World Survival and Fruit of Evolution from sale, the latter left hanging by five volumes, because the publisher Futabasha seemingly ghosted them so they couldn't renew their licenses;..

Luckily it won't hurt digital e-book sales of their works, hopefully for those who want a print copy they'll work something out soon.
