Well, sheesh, picking Rollin' of all the possible things for the series opening theme never ever passed on my bingo card. Though indeed - it feels so damn late 00's that it actually works.

This kind of works considering both the time frame the game comes from, and the fact that Dante is exactly the kind of dork who would listen to Limp Bizkit as fight music. So yes, bring in Undertaker’s entrance music as the opening.

Oh wow, 2000's vibe coming from here. I'm kind of surprised they didn't throw in any homage to the 2007 anime series given that came out in the same decade. If you're trying to evoke the 2000's decade vibe, then throw in an homage to the 2007 anime series.

Aside from hoping this is good, my big hope is that it's leading towards a Devil May Cry 6 reveal. 5 did well, was very positively received, and felt like sort of a fresh start for the series as much as a continuation. But, Capcom has also not said anything about a sequel and Special Edition rerelease in 2020.

The visuals are great and honestly the song works surprisingly well.
Also is that Lady? I guess they're toning down her outfit.

In fairness, this is, to my knowledge, a Western production for Netflix and they're just calling it an anime. So can't say I'm shocked.
On another note, I seem to be the only one who dislikes this opening. Song isn't good, doesn't feel very DMC to me, and the visuals of the opening don't even sync to the music. The opening to the 2007 series was much better.

Netflix will call anything animated, anime as a marketing term to attract more potential clients.
