This hurts. Losing a voice that was such a staple of my childhood and helped define so many beloved characters, especially seeing what she had to go through later in her life.
RIP Rachel Lillis. Thank you for all the wonderful characters you portrayed and brought to live and for always bringing so much heart and love into your roles. You will be missed.

Goddamn, just... fudge cancer. Pokemon was a big part of my childhood, and I really really love the English dub of The Irresponsible Captain Tylor. Rest in peace.

It’s so sad that both voices for Utena passed so young and both due to cancer. Rachael was probably the only good thing about the Utena dub too.

RIP..
She frequented the east coast con circuit back in the late 90's early 00's along with Lisa Ortiz, Crispin Freeman, and Veronica Taylor. (Slayers and CPM)
She has done more then just pokemon.. this hits pretty close.

I'm super shaken. Her, Veronica, and Tiffany Grant basically were anime to me growing up. She was only 46. Not much older than me. Barely out of being a kid herself when she started voicing Misty and Jessie.
Rest in Peace you absolute legend. May your legendary voice career continue to bring joy to kids of all ages.

This death really hurts. Jigglypuff is one of the few voices I can do almost pitch for pitch but still it will never be as good as hers. Another great VA gone too soon due to sickness. RIP.
