Most people cannot attend 1 screening in 1 city. For some it's expensive, for some prohibitively so. What should be done to remedy this, is record Yoshitaka speak, and include that on the western release that still is a mere dream.

I am not sure what exactly is there left to understand. This isn't my idea, Anime World Order did a review of it more than 10 years ago, and they were on point (and I agree 100%). Give it a listen.

This would be absolutely amazing to see on the big screen. Few anime films are as much a feast for the eyes, and the vagueness of the story can be engaging if you're in the right mood. Sadly, I'm nowhere near New York... v_v
And now I'm realizing there hasn't even been a Bluray release for Angel's Egg, at least not in English (or at least, not in America). Wondering if I should give Criterion Collection a phone call.

My son is the biggest Yoshitaka Amani fan and was so upset to learn about this shortly after tickets sold out. If anyone has tickets they would be willing to sell I would love to buy them. Ideally, I’d like to get two, but if I can even get one I’ll happily wait outside for him while he goes to the screening and Q&A. I know this is a long shot, but please contact me if you can help.
