Obviously he is shallow a writer that pretends his themes have depth when he makes his characters say random philosophical quotes that are relevant to the story but make his characters to be barely plot devices and philosophy quote machines. It's obvious kojima would like him.

Hating popular things doesn't make you cool.

Two of the best creatives of the modern age getting together to talk shop sounds pretty interesting.

I don't hate the people just their work. I have no reason to hate someone who hasn't done anything bad but I am free to hate a product and their work.

Maybe Oshii can explain why his movies are so bleedin' boring.

I'm not sure when it became cool to hate on Oshii but I've always loved his work and find him to be very influential and one of the best anime directors. I'm sure Kojima and him will talk a lot about movies and other things they're both interested in.

Nice! Two of the best in the biz!

I would prefer a video podcast with subtitles rather than this format, but it makes sense for audio only broadcasts.

People think Oshii isn't doing much , but don't realize he also guest writes and directs on other recent anime shows, notably some fantastic little stories on Lupin IIIrd.

People may be turned off by attempts to escape formulaic media, but there will always be recognition for both Kojima and Oshii. Death Stranding and VladLove were great imo. Hoping we'll see Kojima's next game soon, and that Oshii makes another slavish movie like Innocence.

You might as well explain to us why you're so pretentious.
