Finally! I was beginning (no pun intended) to wander if this sequel was actually going to happen.

Damn, I was hoping it'd be called C: The Continuation... Oh well, this works too.

I wonder what tired, old tropes they're going to drag out this time, to play them completely straight, without any ambition or creativity.

I was waiting for that news, but seeing Nakazawa stepping down has dampened my enthusiasm.

HALLELUJAH! We finally have something! And right while I'm still waiting for my copy of the limited edition set from Right Stuf as well (hope I don't have to wait too much longer for that). Looking forward!

Also, for anyone unaware they just recently made a music video of the kick-ass song (albeit with a different yet wonderful singer):

I hope they can do a better job of merging Plot A and Plot B this time around. The way they had next to nothing to do with one another made the series feel disjointed. I often felt like I was watching two different shows smooshed into one.

Not a great series, but I had a favorable enough impression of the first season (especially the character Lily) that I will probably watch more. The series certainly left itself open for continuing.

Why do I see that as a potential title for a C Control sequel? Laughing

Ah damn i wish C Control had a sequel but it's fine ending the way it did because at least it ended.

Also WHAT B actually got it's sequel? figured it'd never happen given how little news i've heard about it.
Here's to hoping they tie all things together coherently and give things a good ending. Also Yuna a real part to play and not as a plot device. I liked the idea behind B and the animation was memorable especially that rain fight but the story could use some more work.

Don't know much about the guys behind the project but uhh I liked tiger and bunny and they did some of the songs(loved the opening) so at least the opening should be good?

Hoping for the best, really.

The sequel was first announced all the way back in 2018 Wink

Very disappointing to see the Nakazawa is stepping down as director and character designer. To add to that, they hired someone with no credits as the main writer. I'm tired of seeing sequels done by no-name people. It makes no sense and the quality of the show will obviously plummet because of it. They could've at least hired an established writer like Taku Kishimoto who has experience with thrillers.
