Doesn't bode well for spain, germany, and united states for lifting social distancing measures, if countries/subnational locations that were further progressed along the pandemic curve are getting 2nd waves.
Summer or Fall may be rough for the world.

Japan wasn't progressed further along the curve. The proactive steps they did take certainly delayed its onset, but the fact that they dragged their heels on implementing more widespread social isolation measures means that they're going to need to deal with a spike in cases now too. Will it be nearly as bad as Italy or the US? Probably not, but it will certainly still spike.

Japan didn't really do anything. So this is just the situation that was always there progressing to this point. If Korea or Taiwan gets hit again is when it's a bad sign. But they're doing great handling it so it probably won't happen.
