Nice, some good shows there. I hope this is one step closer to getting Baccano again.

Do you think maybe Funimation will get the old cast together to finally take a crack at dubbing the compilation movies?

Sorry, but I don't think that will happen.

If they're releasing Cells at Work, HOPEFULLY it'll be at a price we can afford!

Hopefully someday Aniplex will let Funimation put the Sword Art Online Extra Edition OVA, the Ordinal Scale movie, and the AGGO anime on their streaming service.

I wouldn't hold your breath, unfortunately. There's been no sign that Aniplex USA is going to be transferring any of their licenses to Funi or anything like that. This is just them consolidating their various titles onto the streaming service owned by their parent company.

Yeah, not only that, but its a RightStuf exclusive in the US/NA (or if Aniplex USA has them available at conventions.), that, and as of this post, its been "out of stock, but expecting more".

Pretty much on point. We haven't seen anything so far to suggest that we might see funimation release those AoA shows physically (at least not yet anyways)

Even before this new streaming deal, Aniplex was always dumping their shows on as many of their platforms as possible. Most of these you can already watch easily on Netflix or Crunchyroll.

Hmm, I wonder if these will be staying on Netflix or not. Doesn't seem like anything is leaving next month though...

Well Cells At Work for instance just came out to Netflix only 2 months ago and now Funimation is saying they have it now too.

Some takeways:
Gurren Lagann is streaming in HD for the first time.
GL episode 6 is still the censored/recap TV edit, and Funi is falsely calling it "uncut."
Cells at Work has the dub OP for every episode and includes episode 14, as opposed to Netflix that had JP opening even on the dub for the first 6 episodes, and totally skipped ep 14.
