I'm having conflicting feelings about that logo, but I gotta admit that this trailer made me more excited than the Japanese ones.

I will definitely see this in theatres. I loved Kimi no Na wa and pretty much every other Shinkai movie.

In case anyone's wondering, GKIDS's higher track record than Funimation for Oscar campaigning - as well as a little more national diversity and a lot less Harvey Weinstein in the Academy - makes Weathering With You a far likelier candidate for an Oscar nomination than Your Name ever really had. Fingers crossed, of course.
