Sounds humorous. I wonder who the staff will be to work on this, but I’m currently feeling like I’ll take a look at this whenever it premieres.

I wonder whether Asobi Asobase may have poisoned the well somewhat for this show; I can picture people being disappointed that it isn't like that, nevermind whether it was ever intended to be or not (typical fan behavior in probably any medium). Recently Made in Abyss fans went into Girls' Last Tour and Hakumei & Mikochi going "Is this like Made in Abyss?" or "Made in Abyss ripoff!"
![]() This manga began publishing in 2014, Asobi Asobase in 2015. But I could see this show being greenlit in response to Asobi Asobase, and perhaps pushed in that direction by producers. (Never seen the manga, so I can only make what feels like a safe guess, that it was more of a traditional/generic CGDCT?)
Wondering, is this a generally recognized use of the word "commemorate"? I thought it was only used for tributes to past events. https://www.dictionary.com/browse/commemorate https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/commemorate https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/commemorate Hmm, this seems to be controversial (not surprising). Here the upvoted comment says past only, but others say current events are fair game. https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/300121/can-you-commemorate-something-new |

When the word is not being used in the sense of "memorializing", I would say the example used about Bino corresponds with the other generally-used definition. |
