The designs all look nice, but I'm getting tired of steampunk.

Steampunk is totally played out in the West, but it's still popular in Japan, even getting more so.
RejetFest did steampunk this year, too. . . . these look way better than that, though.
Swiiiiiits' Steampunk designs look the best.
Also, this world is supposed to be the distant future of the "Tsukino Empires" world that they did a few AGFs ago?
The videos are interesting, but they don't give the best view of the costumes.... the way they list all the voice actors sort of makes me feel like they're going to do more with this world?
Maybe that will be next year's stage play theme, the way this year, several of the stage plays are using the yokai AU...
When the designs were first released (about a month ago?) Shiki's stage actor retweeted Shiki's and commented "I want to wear this!"

I guess I just feel like between Code Realize, Idolish7's steampunk, and something else that did it, there's a lot of steampunk being thrown at the female demographic even more lately. It's a kind of slow build-up, but they're also not giving it any rest.
It's not bad, and most of it consistently looks good, it's just kind of tiresome. There's other punk themes to use, and as far as any kind of futuristic theme (distant or otherwise), it's nice when people go more original.
I hoped Tierblade could kick off a mecha/futuristic fantasy trend within the female-targeted stuff, but I guess not, lol.
Thanks for the background though!
