Seriously, why does Capcom still let Paul W.S. Anderson make more movies based on their games?

Because although they’re rancid garbage, all the Resident Evil movies made a ton of money on a low budget.

I've never even played a MH game, but I have watched my friend play. I don't think I ever saw guns and military gear. I'm guessing this is just another generic 'kill the monsters' movie with a game title slapped onto it

Looks like the director confused MH with Dino Crisis.

I'm not invested in the games at all, but even I thought the thumbnail for this story on the main page was a random image of the actor and not from the actual movie.
I get not having jaw swords the size of a fridge door, but at least try.

The game does have guns.
i think the complain here is how generic the character looks.
The game is famous for having big weapons and armor, but the picture he looks like a simple military guy.

Y'know, I literally didn't even know a Dead or Alive movie EXISTED before I had to look it up on IMDb.
I was hoping to make a joke about the 00's "Legend of Chun-Li" Street Fighter movie, so that in making jokes about Capcom's tie-in film production, I wouldn't to besmirch the reputation of the 90's Jean Claude Van Damme version.
(Some things on my Blu-ray shelf are sacred. )
