I’d love to watch Cells at work! but Aniplex decided some people are not allowed to have nice things
Also looking forward to Hanebad!, Harukana Receive, and Starlight Revue. For the continuations of Free!, AoT3, and the few shows continuing from Spring (My Hero Academia, Steins;Gate 0)
Banana Fish is a toss up for me.
Finally Zoids Wild and Angolmois, just because

ATTACK ON MOTHER F-ING TITAN. If I was told to choose between 24 new, great Attack on Titan episodes and 30+ new shows, I will choose the former without doubt.

I'm honestly surprised that Sirius the Jaeger only got one incidental mention. That looks like one of the coolest shows of the season to me.
Other than that, I'm looking forward to Attack on Titan S3 (of course), Overlord III (also of course), and Planet With, though I'll have to see about the last one since mecha doesn't usually do it for me.

Out of those mentioned I think I'm mostly looking forward to more Free! and not for the toned bodies but I just love the characters and the bonds between all of them.
Hanebad sounds quite good, I like sports anime, have yet to get to Haikyu, Food Plate is also on my list of ones to watch.

As I was going through this list, I was slightly disappointed, but not surprised, at a certain title not being mentioned here until I got to the very bottom. Leave it to Theron Martin to have my back today. Overlord III was a no-brainer, but I’m glad that someone on the ANN reviewers list is very intrigued to see what Back Street Girls will exactly do with its’ premise. I’m also very glad and frankly surprised that Happy Sugar Life was even acknowledged on this piece at all. If it was going to be reviewed weekly (which I don’t expect to happen, but who knows?), I think I know who would be best to do the job. As a reader of the manga, I’m hoping that studio doing the adaptation can do a good job of capturing what makes the series click for me.

I'm looking forward to Sirius the Jaeger and Banana Fish, the one I'm most excited for though, is Gintama, as that show never lets me down.

God, I hope the 2 female-led sports shows, Harukana Receive and Hanebad!, end up being really solid shows and not flops.
I'm still keeping a really close eye on Revue Starlight since I think that will become a dark horse success especially if there are really well-animated, stylized episodic musicals. Bonus points if it goes all Disney where the characters sing out their feelings towards each other.

For returning shows it would be Attack on Titan, Gintama, and Overlord. For new shows Dropkick on My Devil due to the comedic potential, How Not To Summon A Demon Lord for the ecchi fantasy potential, and Planet With for the comedy mecha potential.

Crunchyroll has licensed Cells at Work though they have not yet announced the regions.

Not much I'm anticipating this season, in fact I can count it on one hand: Free S3, Yama no Susume S3, Revue Starlight and Harukana Receive. Less anticipated and more curious about Hanebad, Planet With, Cells at Work and Angolmois. I'll probably binge watch Attack on Titan S3 later, since I'm caught up with the manga and I seriously want to do something with my backlog anyway.

Harukana Receive looks pretty, so it's got that going for it.
I'm cringing at the thought of Back Street Girls. Theron's probably wise to adopt a defensive posture of "just how bad could it get?"

It's really great seeing Mizukami dip his toes in the anime landscape. Though I wish it could've been for an adaptation of Spirit Circle, I'm no less interested in Planet With, especially with how sparse the details on this new project are.

There's a lot of stuff this coming season I'm at least going to try, but as for genuine hype it's basically just Attack on Titan this summer. Although with My Hero Academia S3, Steins;Gate 0 and Lupin III Part V continuing, I think I'll do just fine for things to watch.

No mention of Grand Blue or High Score Girl?
Grand Blue's manga is almost universally acclaimed (it's the #7 top rated manga on MAL). Zero-G doesn't have the best of track records, but they could turn things around with this show.
I've been wanting to see High Score Girl since the anime was first announced and suffered from a long delay due to all the legal troubles. I also love the art style.

Yeah, I´m also a little surpised nobody even mentioned it, considering how popular it seems to be, especially considering most of the newcomers for the summer season are rather low profile.
It would be my runner-up, behind AoT3, simply because of this, although I barely know what to expect. I just hope it won´t disappoint me like Golden Kamuy, which was the other adaption of a highly acclaimed manga I was really looking forward to because of it and that didn´t exactly held up to my expectations.

If we're talking about all summer 2018 anime and not just TV shows, I'm really only anticipating what I know I won't likely be able to watch until 2019 (barring a Canadian theatrical release or maybe just a screening at the Ottawa International Animation Festical?), the Non Non Biyori: Vacation movie.
However, I've been anticipating the Okinawa trip since the OVA that directly leads into the movie's storyline which was released way back in 2014, so what's another year, really?
I'm still wondering how they're going to bulk up what is really only four manga chapters, two of which involve arriving or leaving Okinawa, into movie-length. I presume there will be significant filler.
