In Japan a disk has recently been made available for rental. On Blu-ray and DVD, containing the live-action specials previously streamed through Hulu Japan and a few other local providers. News page: ちはやふる-繋ぐ- and -学び-. Doesn't look like a disk for these episodes is available for sale. The rental disk also includes one trailer each for Kami no Ku, Shimo no Ku and Musubi.
Meanwhile in a different language sphere. A different format and someone else's re-interpretation became available too. YouTube link - Sentai Filmworks released, in English, a "Chihayafuru Season 2 Official Dub Clip" on March 20, 2018. The clip at least appears to have been made available without regional restrictions. Coinciding with the official release of Sentai's disk sets for the season. In Japan, next week, the OVA, previously bundled on DVD with the special edition of manga volume 22, will be aired on TV for the first time, on some regional stations affiliated with NTV. As part of ちはやふる 秀歌撰 #12. 「わがみよにふる ながめせしまに」 |
