OK, this has got to stop. I don't want to hear about another mangaka/seiyu that died.

I agree. It's better to have her focus on her health rather than have her overwork herself. We already had a year-long hiatus; we can be patient.

Yea no don't force a return if she still hasn't fully recovered. I love the series and I want Ballroom to return sure, but risking the author's health for an early return sounds like the worst choice. Give her the time she needs.

Fans would want her to full recover so she is on top of her game and draw properly not putting her health at risk again.

I can’t wait to see the next season of ballroom, but of course health is way more important. Although, I deeply believe Tomo Takeuchi will recover soon and write some more good stuff.

omg Japan stop with your working to death mentalism. Does she not get paid in any way that she forces herself to draw? No fan wants her to tortue herself, does she not know?!
Do the Editors push her?!

This type of hiatus is necessary. However, the frequency of HxH (which has practically become synonymous with manga hiatuses) is another story.

Stories about manga-ka and authors fighting serious illnesses seem to appear here on a regular basis. Are these people more frail than the average Japanese, or do we just see stories about them in particular with no basis for comparison?

Unfortunate that this happened. Hopefully, she returns at 110%.
