I wish her luck, its going to be a tougher road without an agency to back her up, but she has many highly acclaimed roles so hopefully, she'll be fine.

Indeed, Romi doesn't need an agency when her name alone is known throughout the community. I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up being one of those life-long veterans.
My guess why she left the agency: Why split your income with agents who do nothing as the roles come to you?

I get the impression that there are two kinds of voice actors who go freelance. Those who have trouble to find any job and are abandoned by their previous agency, and long-time veterans who are so famous and experienced that they have no need for an agency.
