^ Who am I kidding? It'll come before Index III.

Waaaiiitt a minute. The hotsprings and the ping pomg happened in a side chapter recently. I don't know if this is an anime orginal or not.

If it happened in a side chapter then its not considered anime original since even side chapters are considered canon

Man, Erina not voiced by Risa Taneda is gonna bother me, but it's all good since she's on hiatus. Hopefully she returns to voice acting soon.

When they have enough source material to make a cour or more worth of episodes. The manga is not much far ahead from recently adapted to anime, the Stagiare arc. Heck if they somehow do it, the plot pacing will be horrible again like season 2 did.

They actually have a lot of material that they can cover. The problem is that the current arc is so long that its gonna be hard to find a proper part to stop at

Which is probably the reason why season 2 dont get 24 episodes split cour. Most anime wont catch up too close to source material. They try to avoid it. Anime like Gintama having break few times so they wont catch up to manga and pressure the author. What if they catch up too close and the author of original source went hiatus because of certain issues like health problem? That will be causing problem to anime committee.

Thats true and instead of SnS doing filler eps they save those for OVAs. Actually if they wanted they can do another 13 eps worth but it would only cover another 3 arcs at best or 24 eps if they wish but they run the risk of leaving the end at a huge cliff hanger or theyre not able to give a definitive end to the arc considering the huge time gap between airing of seasons.
But thats only IF they announce season 3. If they dont make an announcement by the end of the year then we may not see season 3 until next summer at least. I noticed that theres at least a 6 month gap between the announcement and the airing when it comes to SnS
