So, Sentai's home video should be coming out in Dec. 2018 or Jan. 2019 at the earliest. Now, if they could simuldub it.

I honestly don't understand why they don't simuldub especially with there new deal with amazon. If that was the case I would definitely subscribe to strike.

I would pay for strike if a dub happened as season went on

Beyond dealing with the aftermaths of that horrific hurricane in Houston, it might be that Sentai isn't currently have the budget for a simuldub.

I doubt that is the issue as they have had two seasons with Amazon already and did not do it then.

There's always the possibility that Sentai is being conservative with their resources so they don't run into the financial issues they've had in the past.

How would dubbing now or later cost any different? Unless you mean there waiting to see what shows are popular and then dub based off that information.

Funi is not the only one playing simuldub game. Aniplex did it for the 2-4 seasons of "Durarara" and Viz Media is doing it for the "Boruto" TV show (recording wise).

The chances are minimal, but it would be most satisfying were they to overdub the opening theme with the song from Garfield and Friends...

Overhead. You can do a full dub with relatively few trips to the studio, but you have to make a trip every week for a simuldub(and then make corrections for the home release).
