Another unfortunate passing. I hope Tooru's friend and family can get through this. Thank you for having an impact on our child/adulthood. RIP

ANN accidentally has two entries for this person, under the spellings Tooru Hishiyama and Toru Hishiyama. The other entry:

Oh boy. It looks like Death seems to be immensely peeved at the entertainment industry this year. Look at all the people who've passed away! I looked up Mr. Hishiyama and he did the backgrounds on the 2011 version of "Thundercats" as well as "Little Nemo." What a shame.

RIP Mr. Hishiyama. You'll be missed. Sad
