I made it through the Black and White series, so I can make it through this one. And honestly, Ash's new design doesn't look that bad in motion.

Why? Why would you go from X&Y, which was a massive improvement over the trash that was B&W, to this BS? Ash seems to be acting more retarded than ever, I am betting we will see a repeat of Pikachu being easily beaten by "Rival's" new acquired starter Pokemon and the character design is horrible, especially for Ash who seems to have gotten younger (Both mentally and physically).

You actually can't. The quality has been poor since...well, after Diamond and Pearl, to be honest. Things can only get worse if they are still adamant in keeping Ash as their mascot. I think the new animation style is a breathe of fresh air actually. It's really creepy and sometimes Ash looks deformed or mangled at times but I'll take it over the cookie-cutter style we've had since BW.

It's an Alola version of Ash yeah that's what it is, Pokemon S&M (uh ... might be safer to spell out Sun and Moon .....) is just a spin off and not a sequel or anything. Yeah that's all this is .... at least in my mind

I was jarred by Ash's new look upon first seeing it, but after watching these trailers, I got accustomed to it. I find that Ash doesn't look as off-putting in animation as he does on paper.
I look forward to the English anime debut of Sun & Moon.

Nickelodeon Austria already announced German dubbed airings on 19th November, together with the Volcanion Movie. Guess English TV-Networks will act similar - like they did with XY: Air one or two episodes of Sun & Moon, and than show the remaining episodes of XYZ for the next months. |

Well, I don't know which version the anime you watch, so I can't confirm what standards you have for quality(many things go into that), but to the "You actually can't" part...I can guarantee one person(not me. lol) in the world watched some of Best Wishes, thought it was trash, dropped it, then waited for XY, and thought it was an improvement to prove that statement wrong.

All these people complaining and thinking the quality has dipped, and yet the rest of the industry is excited to see this as an animation game changer, much like XY was. Seriously, this new season is looking to be more expressive and higher quality than ever before.
