I love how Touch is number 2.
Such an epic manga/anime, and the first op is definitely my favorite.

I've always thought We Gotta Power and Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku were better than Cha-La Head-Cha-La. But a pretty solid list. Butter-Fly and Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari are my jam.

Really cool that "Sekai ga owaru made wa" (my favorite ED ever) and "Kimi ga suki da to sakebitai" made the list. Slam Dunk is so enduringly popular, I wonder why they never brought the anime back, even with this revival craze Toei's going through.

Should be Nakajima Megumi for Lion, not Nakajima Ai.

Really? Did you even proof read this? Ai Nakajima is a (old) misreading of Megumi Nakajima. ANN should know this, 8 years after the anime's debut.

I'm kinda sad nothing rather recent has made it's way up there...but it's also kinda hard to say very many deserve it as well.

Interesting to see that out of all FMA opening/ending songs, "Melissa" is what ranks up there. But I'm probably biased by the [adult swim] broadcast using "Ready Steady Go" for 3/4 of the show's run and hence permanently branding it into my brain. Razz And as much as I'm not even a particularly big Eva fan, I guess you can't argue with how much of an earworm that song is.

I'm so happy that "The Card Games Thesis" is #1.

The songs on the list appear to be both well liked and not too difficult to sing.

From the same artist, the Amagi Brilliant Park OP by Akino and Bless 4 is well liked but isn't as easy to sing as Genesis of Aquarion.

It's definitely on my list of manga I wish they'd license in English. I doubt anyone would actually take a chance on a 20+ volume baseball manga, though. Sad

No Megumi Hayashibara in the listing? ....Preposterous!

I would've really liked to have seen Yuzurenai Negai on there.

I'm just surprised that none of the openings from Attack on Titan are on the list given how popular the Anime has become. Confused

Another bogus list that proves the Japanese have completely different taste from me.

This list needs some Buck Tick, Kalafina, Psychic Lover, Mell, Kotoko, Yosei Teikoku, Granrodeo, Mami Kawada, Nana Mizuki, Eiko Shimamia, Yoko Hikasa, Back-On, Beat Crusaders, Boom Boom Satelites, Egoist, Kokia, Nagi Yanagi, etc.

The presence of many of the titles on this list suggests to me that this was a general population poll rather than an anime fan-specific one. Hence that may explain the lack of representation of many artists/groups that are popular with anime fans.

Was happy to see "Lion" that high on the list, though. It would rank pretty high on my personal list of best/favorite anime theme songs.
