Can we get adult rangers in the near future or something? Doesn't always have to be teenagers that look like they came from one of Nick's other live action shows.

I just hope they don't overdo on the main comedic villains bit; that's something Ninja Storm faltered quite a bit. Though I trust on Judd Lynn; Dino Charge is surprisingly decent and a DEFINITE improvement from Samurai and Megaforce.

what is up with Saban making ninja themed series that has to involve aliens?
yeah i know Ninninger has a bit of an alien backstory but that only involves the creation of the Otomo-nin mechas as in the Zords were made by Last Ninja or that blacksmith kid's family that created the ranger's weapons by reverse engineer alien tech from the extraterrestrials that the Last Ninja sent a signal to in the past that resulted in the creation of the first Otomo-nin UFOmaru, but only that, the villains were clearly based on creatures from the Japanese mythology as in their leader Kibaoni himself, making them aliens seems kinda off now, as they are shown not originated from space but from earth as in ancient Japan.

Most of the teenagers in other Nickelodeon shows are played by actual teenagers, not actors in their twenties and thirties pretending to be teenagers.
Saban's adaption seems unfortunate given how 1) they said they skipped Go-Busters due to low toy sales yet Ninninger had the worst sales in the franchise since TimeRanger, and 2) Zyuohger is already doing the video game theme.

I was under the impression that all the Dino Charge rangers were legally adults, the only one we get a stated age on is Shelby/Pink who is 18, so below US drinking age but able to vote. I also got the feeling she was supposed to be the youngest one of that particular team too. Heck the first of the two Purple Dino Charge Rangers is in his 60s, and the second one is early 30s/late 20s probably.

True, but 'ninja' seems like it'd be more popular with kids than 'spy' would.
I can't speak of Zyuohger, I haven't actually watched any of that one. It's the first series since I started watching sentai at all that had designs so bad I'm just disinterested in seeing it.

I think the problem is that in the other Nick shows, the teen actors don't need to do action stunts or learn some martial arts. There are also the child labor laws of New Zealand Saban has to contend with when hiring teen actors, so of course they'll just hire adults in their 20s.

I always assumed that Go-Busters got skipped because it seemed like many of the fights involved people WITHOUT masks covering their heads. (ie. fairly "unusuable" footage) I wouldn't be surprised if they had the same issue with the MAIN villian in To-Qger, but I'm sure the "train" theme was a tough sell for the US anyway.

Zyuohger is more about animals then anything, the video game stuff is only from the villains with Go-Busters and ToQger getting the shaft it could possibly happen to Zyuohger as well
