Given that this is a domestic issue at the state level, I doubt the average Japanese person would know about the NC and Missisippi Religious Rights laws unless they regularly read news articles about the US. Even if a Japanese company found out about the law, I have a feeling they wont make a scene and take a stance on another country's state level policy.

And I don't even know what, if any, laws are in place in Japan that affect the LGBT community. Since Japan is more conservative, I don't think they'd pull out of a convention over something like this. |

As a resident of the state, I do advise anyone out of the state to avoid travel to NC till the higher courts strike down HB2.
