Code Geass director huh? Well this was kinda unexpected.

And original anime?
I have a weird feeling about this...

He seems to come back to mechas after all this time.

Well, it's Taniguchi, I like his Maria the Virgin Witch adaptation, and from what I hear he put most of his passion in Code Geass on the better parts of the series, so let's give him a chance.

Damn it. I thought it was going to be the 10th anniversary CG announcement about a remake/alternate route of R2 with its original intended plot.

Anyway, 08th MA Division?

Synopsis seems quite heavy in throwing numbers arounds (the 8th of the 5th of the 3th).

Some people say the mecha genre is dying out but it doesn't look like it

I have to say, that staff looks pretty sweet. I'll definitely give this one a whirl when it airs.

The 10th anniversary hasn't even happened yet. It's not for another year. Geass first aired October 5, 2006. It's only 9 years old right now. Wait for 2016.

Pretty confident this is Production I.G.
If it is indeed I.G. we all got nothing to worry about

Holy crap! How come I didn't know about R2 being completely not as planned? I just looked it up, now I really want to see how it was originally intended to be. Has there been anything to actually indicate that a remake could have even a tiny possibility of existing, or is this just wishful thinking?

With this and Cabaneli, I'm really pumped for next year.

I enjoyed Maria the Virgin Witch mainly because I enjoyed Alexis Tipton as Maria. However, her Musubi is my fave role of hers.
