Upon looking into that, I...couldn't really find anything in the games or the anime. Now I wonder where that impression originated. I'm guessing it's from various Pokémon scholars, like Professor Oak, talking about how Pokémon may have come from outer space. Since Mew is said to be the first Pokémon, maybe it was combining those two statements together.
Me, I see a lot of plushes of Mew. It's pretty easy to make and is popular. If there's a Pokémon that deserves a plush, it's Flygon. (I would've previously said Mawile, but it now has an official plush, both its Mega and normal selves.) |
