I am enjoying the manga so far and I hope the adaption is just as fun. It should be interesting to see play out in the anime.

...and that completes the sweep. I'm following/will be checking out 29 currently airing anime titles and every single one of them is available to me either through Funi or CR. It's the first season I can remember where I won't have to rely on a single *ahem* unauthorized stream to watch a show. Yay!

I also wanted to pick up the manga, but I don't know what changes Kodansha made to the translation so i'm on the fence about getting it. |

my only concern is that since it will be 12 episodes I don't believe there is any early on good stopping point unless it's really rushed

I hope it gets at least 26 episodes; as i'm sure we both know, the manga has such a perfect stopping point i'm honestly surprised it kept going on after that |

Is there some basis for you suspecting they may have made major changes during the translation/localization process? That really only happens with kids manga these days. |

It shouldn't come as a surprise, but all signs point to Netflix, as was the case with the first season. Meaning it's unlikely to be "simulcast" at all, and will be streamed by them with a dub available a few months from now. No official announcement yet though. |

I wondered whether CrunchyRoll or FUNimation will pick this series up, if at all. Nice to see that CR got it.

As of yet, Sentai hasn't ever announced a license for a Kodansha series in the entire time they've been using CR for simulcasting. So it's entirely possible that it's just a CR title. Or maybe a shared stream with FUNi & CR, since FUNi hasn't actually stated yet that they're done for the season like they usually do. |
