3 Volumes huh
It's either not selling well or Yoshiki sensei is running out of ideas... I haven't read it yet, i'm waiting for Yen to release it next year but since it's only 3 vol i may as well purchase it and have a Yoshiki Tonogai trilogy set of death game series lollll

Well if you haven't read it yet then how do you know it isn't selling well or that they've run out of ideas. A story doesn't need to be endlessly long.

Doubt was only four volumes, and it seems unlikely the magazine would've given the go-ahead for a sequel if the original didn't do well. It's probably better to think of Doubt, Judge and Secret as discrete arcs in a longer series. The question is, will Secret wrap things up, or are we going to see Deliberation, Conviction,, Gavel, Sentence, etc.?

Maybe the author intended for it to be a short series or perhaps it was so stressful meeting deadlines that he decided to end it sooner than he had hoped.
