Wow never thought we would see the subtitled version of The Little bits on Anime sols. Fans of the Saban version may like to watch this again but subtitled and uncut.

*whistles*

Wow, if The Li'l Bits can get streamed subbed and uncut, maybe there's hope for Maple Town and Palm Town after all. :3

With Anime Sols and Discotek licensing various old school anime shows, I could see them pulling their money together and getting a DVD that has both of their logos on it. That is, a joint license.

I doubt that will ever happen, mainly because if Discotek was to be involved with any of the shows Anime Sols handles, then what's the point of having Anime Sols in the first place? Sols exists for the purpose of trying to release anime on DVD via crowdfunding since traditional licensing wasn't going to happen.

Now, if any of the shows Anime Sols is handling right now become available for traditional licensing, then at least there are previously existing subs to some extent, all the more so for something like Hurricane Polymar (which did get fully subbed).

Geo: The thing is that Sentai still has an option on certain Tatsunoko anime of its choice. So it's hard to tell if they'll call first dibs on any of the anime Sols might interested in, or just use the site as a fan Petri dish to gauge overall interest in the Tatsunoko stuff, before pouncing. I think the main reason they got Casshern was 'cus the '08 reboot got a broadcast on AS. I'm not entirely sure they would have, otherwise.

Well, looks like doing the crowdfund for streaming seems to be working. I hope this can keep up.
