Well...yes. Not me, obviously, but in Japan, where guys from boyhood are taught to be terrified of girls and get used to rejection quickly, they DO tend to overcompensate in projecting humiliation as "sexy". (Unless they become rape-fetishists instead.) That's probably why we have so much obsession with tsundere in anime, not to mention why, of all of Hatsune Miku's hit songs, the JP crowd keeps going wild for "The World Is Mine". |
