I think it would be nice to have a link in the profiles that would take you to "My Anime" of that person. Also I think a link at the bottom of someone post next to the profile and pm button would be nice. Just a thought. Tell me what you think.

I agree with Chris that this really is not all that good of an idea. It would just make more work for the moderators and plus why would you want to check out other people's "My Anime?" --Just curious.

I think many would prefer you to not go around and repeating what someone else has already said, you are not adding anything to the topics. In this case Tempest never even said it was a bad idea, he actually said that it was in the works. Also how would something like this make more work for moderators? It doesn't have anything to do with a moderator's job.
Since you actually have a question in this topic I'll answer.
Personally, I like looking through public lists to get ideas for other shows to watch. But I think that it is also a curiosity to see what other people have to say about a show I enjoyed or didn't like. And sometimes also just to see who else has seen a certain show.
And I'm sure there are other reasons for people to look at public lists, those are just mine. If there was no use for them, why would they be called "Public" lists? And why would someone choose the option for making his/her list public if they didn't want anyone looking at it?
These are all rhetorical questions, I don't need answers.

Your Forma’s first three volumes are, on the whole, excellent. A perfect blend of science fiction and mystery, the stories deal with strong plots and characters that are constantly growing.― Mystery as a genre doesn't always intersect well with speculative areas of fiction like fantasy or sci-fi. Most people will tell you that's because mystery is rooted in logic and fact-finding, things that can be...
Everything in Mecha-Ude Volume 1 is so close to the anime that, at times, it almost feels like reading through storyboards.― During Fall 2024, here on ANN, I reviewed studio TriF's debut anime series Mecha-Ude as it aired weekly. Overall it was a great 12-episode show, densely packed with enough plot to fuel a series twice its length, elevated by wonderfully kinetic action animation heavily influenc...
Coming to North America next month, reporter Asha Bardon calls the Sailor Moon The Super Live performance a "brilliant" mix of light show, dialogue, interpretive dance, and circus skills.― How do you condense the first arc of a best-selling, beloved magical girl manga into ninety minutes with less than twenty performers and time left for a musical encore? Surprisingly well, actually. English Sailor ...
Get the lowdown on Sony's State of Play and its major gaff after an outage left its consoles mostly useless. Plus an unexpected Frieren collab!― Welcome back, folks! We hope you enjoyed last week's segment on American games getting censored in Japan; the segment was brainstormed by our colleague Jacki Jing, who will make a short video about the matter on Anime News Network's socials. Kang Hei Chu discusses the oceanic world-building, A Little Mermaid, veteran voice actor Cockle of The Witcher video games, and whether it's right to call the movie an “anime.”― The Witcher has sown a bountiful crop of a franchise since Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski published the first Witcher short story in 1986. Sapkowski's The Witcher books acquired adaptations in the form of the CD Projekt Re...
This model of repeated actions on similar environments can work if the quality is there – I’ve certainly enjoyed such games in my time – but usually for some combination of meaningful extrinsic and intrinsic rewards.― SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada is a game which makes a strong first impression before almost immediately nose-diving into humdrum monotony. The bones of the setup are strong enough to support ...

Game features turn-based combat, exploration― Bandai Namco Entertainment announced during Sony's "State of Play" livestream on Wednesday it will release the Digimon Story Time Stranger game for the PlayStation 5 in 2025. It shouldn’t set Failure Frame apart that Touka doesn’t take any of these characters as his slave, but it does. Does that make Failure Frame a good show? Heck no!― It may be tempting to dismiss Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything with Low-Level Spells. The wordy title alone promises a series that offers little originality, considering how many isekai and non-isekai LitRP...
We asked our editorial team to pick their favorite isekai anime. Here are our picks for newcomers to the genre or seasoned travelers looking for something different.― One of the fastest-growing genres in anime is isekai.
