I'll be seeing this next Saturday. Very Happy Really looking forward to it. I wonder if it will be told in an accessible way for new viewers. I'm tempted to bring my friend, but she hasn't seen the show yet.

If you live in Chicago and were thinking of going to see this, don't bother. The music box is way too small too be called a theater and the sound system is terrible.

One week after seeing Eva 3.0 I'm going to the special event screening on Sunday in LA. What a great time to be a fan of Anime. I look foward to it.

For whatever's worth, its getting screenings in Mexico too, which also start Saturday and then continue on limited screenings across the country throughout February.

seriously...screw you Aniplex. Really wish NISA could've had this title too. Aniplex clearly hates the midwest

That's not fair, of course, but the theatre listing is pretty bizarre. No showings in top 10 cities Phoenix and Atlanta. Nothing in Wisconsin, Indiana, or Minnesota, yet Michigan gets three showings, including two just 10 miles apart (Bloomfield Hills vs Farmington Hills), and one in Kalamazoo rather than the much larger West Michigan city of Grand Rapids.

On the latter point, I tweeted at central/west MI theater chain Celebration Cinema why they didn't get any of the three recent anime movies (Madoka, Evangelion, and Anohana), and they said they tried to get Eva but the distributor refused them.

So, one hour drive each way for me to see Anohana tonight. Better than the 2.5 for Dokes, I suppose.

What? I saw this movie yesterday at big cinema Manhattan and didn't get any If this shit. What the hell? Apparently I'm one of the first in the country to see it in theaters yet I get nothing, and everyone who comes after I did gets all that stuff. Worst part, I'm completely addicted to sunflower seeds and was hungry on my way back, could have made good use of them. Thanks for nothing Aniplex.

Cool. They are doing it at the Angelika this time. Way better than the ratty Texas Theater in Oak Cliff where you have to wear a bullet proof vest to go into.

I'm bringing a friend as well who hasn't seen the anime before. I think it's better if you haven't seen it. I'm sure the movie is just as good.

Cool! I'll probably do that too. It looks like we'll be at the same theatre as well. Very Happy I don't know if you have ever been to Angelika Fairfax, but just saying that theatre is beautiful.

Ahhh! Everywhere I turn there's updates about this movie playing! I couldn't make it to the ONE showing they're having in Pennsylvania because my boyfriend works today (it's only an hour away) and I'm really upset about it! I hope everyone who sees it enjoys it just a little extra to make up for all of us who can't see it.
