You know if they release this over in the States then I just might finally get around to picking the movie up and feel glad I decided to wait so long to get it.

I have a feeling this most likely won't be released into America because Square-Enix tends to do this a lot with their games since they make the American ones better than the Japanese and the Japanese better than the American version...
... I really wanna see the new clips...

Yes, I know; Square-Enix is truly trying to part us with our money now. Granted, I've felt guilty for years for buying the original FFVII for a mere $20. Being the greatest game I've ever played, I feel I should contribute more... but that's just me, I know there will be a billion people who will be cursing at SE for having to go through another year of waiting and their over-priced "eye-candy," as some would say...
And most everyone above, I think you're all way exaggerating the delay that Advent Children had. I mean, 8 months? Wow, I thought we always waited that long for every Japan-to-America release.

Well, UK always had the shorter end of the stick. Japan ->US -> UK.
Blu Ray, the new format, I can understand, but why release some on DVD that should have been on there in the ... oh yeah. Moo... Dollars to dounuts, if it released over here, it'll come with Lost Order.

I am in agreeance with you on your points. While i have always been a supporter of squaresoft(then squareenix) and always will they are trying to milk it way to hard.
While it would be nice to see a cleaner verison of it i am not going to rush out and get it(considering i do not have a blue ray player yet).

New scenes in the movie don't interest me.
I will only consider repurchasing this film if the new (American) DVD includes the "Last Order" OVA...and even then I'll only consider it.

Dear Squaresoft, (Since everything you have made with Square-Enix has been sub par)
What are you doing? Honestly how much more do you plan on milking out of FFVII? Final Fantasy completed, Final Fantasy can never be complete unless it’s the last game ever, you can’t have the final anything if there is a sequel or movie tie in with a game that was released nearly a decade ago. I know at some point this DVD is going to make it to the US, first it will be a standard DVD (Special edition to come later)…then a blue ray version and if were really lucky a HD-DVD version if Blue ray fails. THANKS!

Weren't the deleted scenes in FF7: AC less than 2 seconds or merely different dialogue.
Sounds like Sony is trying to make sure Blu-ray has one big seller, like USB did.
