I'm kinda conflicted about this. On one hand, it'll be good to get to Shippuden.
On the other hand, it majorly stinks for people who were seeing it for the first time.

I say pick a day in December and burn off as many Part 1 episodes as possible.

It's gonna suck for people who have already seen it, like someone said. I just wanna be able to watch up to date dubs of it regularly airing on TV ;o. oh well I have streams for that.

Seriously?
Why would they just drop it while it's right in the middle of a major arc? I can understand after canon is finished (which is episode 135), but like this? I genuinely don't understand.

Viz is likely trying to save the more current episodes of Shippuden for Neon Alley, since that is where they premier now. Gonna be a while before Toonami catches up to those if they start Shippuden from the start, though skipping past original Naruto is decent progress.

At least they know to skip the massive amount of filler this time. Even if if a tiny bit of it was good.

We're getting three movie nights and presumably another type of surprise in December. Don't think there's enough room. There's also the obligation to FUNimation and Aniplex to air their shows to consider.

I have one thing to say about this: Oh god. I've been following NS since 2007 fansubbed, and knowing how bad the dub is (I mean 'dattebayo' becoming 'Believe it!'? Puhlease.. >_>) I wont' be watching. I don't have cable so that helps.

Why isn't anyone happy with the fact that they're airing it UNCUT? At least with this, Disney won't Macekre it to death!

lol sub elitist gtfo. I'll be what you are and say this -
dude, the original japanese version is so bad. ( i mean 'Believe it?!' is so superior to 'dattebayo' which sounds dumb anyway ..puhlease >_>). I won't be watching the sub anymore, i like the dub and have cable so I will be watching - so that helps

How long has it been since you watched the dub. For one thing the dub is pretty damn good. Another thing "believe it" hasn't been said since the 20's. And why comment if have no intention to watch.

Cool! Although there's less Sasuke in Shippuden, so that means less of Yuri Lowenthal's sexy Sasuke voice.
How much Bleach does Toonami have left?
