I wonder, perhaps if ANN were to rename interest articles "THIS IS NOT ANIME NEWS, IT IS SOMETHING WE PICKED BECAUSE OUR STAFF THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE INTERESTING TO OUR VIEWERS, HENCE INTEREST", would people finally realize the reason these things are posted?

I feel like I've learned something today. I feel like the expectation is that I should regret that I can't unlearn it, but instead, I think it's kind of cool to know.
