Sentai Filmworks had announced in July that it signed a deal with Tatsunoko Production for 11 of the company's titles, including Gatchaman, Casshan, and Gatchaman Crowds.

David Williams said at Anime Weekend Atlanta that Crowds is not part of that specific deal.

Cool, I've been curious to see this after working on Yatterman. It might make at least a bit more sense now that people in NA have been able to see (some of) one of the parent series.

I hope at the very very least, they fix the subtitles (more like dubtitles). If it's true they're redubbing the Gatchaman OVAs with the ADV voice actors, it would be great if they redubbed at least the second half with Jun and Ken.

Also hoping for more Time Bokan releases of some sort

From Sentai, not likely due to it being on AnimeSols (along with the original Yatterman) and failing.

Pinansky elaborated that KickStarter requires a U.S. base to run a campaign and that would hinder AnimeSols from going onto KickStarter. He also stated the Tatsunoko Productions deal with Sentai Filmworks will not interfere with series on AnimeSols, as the deal as been in the works for some time and shows offered on AnimeSols are not a part of Sentai Filmworks' deal.

There's still the live-action film that Discotek released back in August if anyone cares.
