How many people really like naruto? I mean I know it's one of the most popular anime & manga in the us, but why does everyone talk about it like it's a god? I know that it has a cool storyline, but the graphics suck. So let me Know

That's not really true. The only people I know of that "talk about it like it's a god" are those who have not seen much else. Naruto is a good introductory series for those new to anime, and is neither hard to comprehend or to get into. It's the "First Anime Syndrome," really.
The real question right now is -

It's graphics suck? Not really dude. I like it and it's not even my first one...probably just because I like a lot of shonen titles. Still though, it's animation is pretty good...

It's decent shounen, the graphics don't really suck - they are just suited to the style of the anime.
I don't watch it at the moment, I've watched up to around 130+ but then my interest just waned a bit.
It seems to be the new dragonball kind of thing, but (in my opinion) done slightly better - many similar features. Long battle build ups, light hearted filler episodes, little non-combat action or story.
It definitely is a case of first anime syndrome - the hype around it seems to get people into anime. I've found quite a lot of other anime more involving, but there is something gripping and compulsive about Naruto on a basic level. Its just plain fun - it really doesn't take much effort to get much out of it. Even Bleach, which I view as a sort of sequel to Naruto, has 15-20 slower episodes at the start and I was gripped by Naruto faster than I was gripped by Bleach (although I think Bleach *may* have been more rewarding by the time it got to the soul society, rescuing Ryoko storyline )
Naruto isn't exactly deep, or rewarding on some 'special' level, which, as I said, just contributes to it as a decent shounen. It didn't blow my mind though.

i can't even dare to talk about NARUTO anymore because after what i've seen today ( episode 291 ) i've decided this will be the last time i would watch it. And even if the fillers end i would still dislike it. DBZ is one million times better and i don't care about what narutofans say but this is a joke.

I assume you mean 191, not 291. But yes, I stopped around 130, and so I haven't had the apparently awful filler to affect my view. But still, if you hate it that much, then sure, stop watching it! Thats why I stopped. I'd rather not let a sea of unsatisfying badly drawn filler episodes affect a series that had so much going for it at the start. Characters like Rock Lee and the little tournament arc were entertaining enough and then the whole Orichimaru arc was also really entertaining.

It's not the greatest thing ever, but it's entertaining. I try to catch it when I can, and I watch the new episodes every week. Gives me something to do after work to relax a little. But I hope the fillers are comming to an end. I guess the rumor now is 11 weeks or so.

I don't really like it, i just never got into it or motivated to try to get into it. I watched a little and the english voices seem over exagerated and awkward which is the main reason wy i stay away from it.

I think its way overrated. The reasons are, i do not like the english dub voices, it has a mediocre storyline, the characters aren't really interesting to me, and the title is NARUTO, but its all about sasuke. I read up to number 10 too. And if you say, wait it gets better, its had more then enough time to get a good story going by volume 10. So thats why i do not like it.

Yes I have to agree. This gets way too much hype. The story is not interesting at all IMO and the characters are unbearable. Gets really boring too.

OMG...I was just pondering this though last week. I mean I dont really know how to feel about it right now. Currently Im not episode 141...or was it 142. I know since I am this far in the series its obvious I like the show, but for some reason in the back of my mind I think that the show is finally going to stop with the filler episodes. It has got to the point were I cant tell if Im watching a fill ep or a new story arc. So basically right now I dont know how I feel about Naruto, but what I well agree with is that it is a good anime even with the abundance amount of fillers. I mean you either love the show or hate it.....but I feel in between.

The story is just awful. The manga is rather funny, but what I've seen of the anime makes me retch. Bad animation, bad voice acting... basically, it just couldn't make the transition. I think the show would have been good if it could have adequately captured the feeling of the manga.
