Hellsing COOL or NOT do tell?

I just seen the episodes they had on Stars and it kickt butt, but I want to know what you guys thinke about it?

Why don´t you tell us more besides ¨it kickt butt¨?

As for me, it holds a special place in my heart because it was one the first ¨mature¨ series I collected. I admit it is not the greatest thing ever, he is an immortal vampire so there are not many that can challenge him, and I´m not a big fan of CG scenes thrown into the anime.

I loved the music. I used to hate almost all Japanese intros because of what I see as crappy music with stupid Engrish dialogue. I´ve grown to love some of these songs I used to hate, but some songs still piss me off. Like in Bleach when Ichigo does something bad-ass and a stupid Japanese song with a girl singing plays in the background plays.

So in short, I thought it was ¨cool¨. But I think that was also due to the cursing. I had never heard so many ¨bad words¨ in an anime, so when I heard it on Hellsing, specially during the Valentine Brothers, I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

I loved the Pioneer preview for the series with the techno music. Cool

It's a fun series, and the music is great. It's nothing compared to the manga, but it's quite entertaining.

The new OVA is great, though.

As a lover of all incarnations of Hellsing both manga and series I would have to give it a thumbs up of course. The first series was a real fun ride and I liked Alucard, Seras, Walter and the other main characters. I've read what's available of the manga and it's good stuff too though it takes an eternity for the volumes to come out. From what I've seen of the new Hellsing Ultimate series (episode 1) it seems to be shaping up rather nicely too, I can't wait for more.
