A actual manga? I doubt it. It looks more like a spread on the Hilton you would see in a japanese magazine (fashion or entertainment). *notice the actual picture being used?
It's funny when people see japanese cartoon drawing, they assume it's a full-blown manga. |

I'd have to say it's just a magazine profile that they used illustrations in, since they are in color and formated to the page. Still, Tokyopop is put out that Cinemanga of The Simple Life, so I guess it is possible. I guess the artist can be commended for getting down her "drunken stupor" look, as well as capturing Nichole Richies' lovely...er, features.

THIS IS BLASPHEMY!! manga is japanese, so for the love of all thats good, keep it that way. if stuff like this made mainstream in the US from crap like this, it would spell certain doom for us all. and with a new anime knockoff cartoon coming out on tv every month or two, that makes it even worse. now, with funimation getting their hands on CLAMP animes, this all spells the downfall of our beloved anime industry. before we know it, there will be preppy girls invading the manga sections, and then noone is safe. THIS IS FUBAR! with all the crap thats going on in the world, its only a matter of time before the anime industry in america is taken over by bigtime corporate bigshots. oh wait....its already started, no thanks to crap like this.

Oh, yay, let's start another North America vs Japan debate -_- Did you perhaps fail to notice how there is Japanese writing in this article, meaning it's from Japan? Don't think that the culture there is OMGSUPERIOUR. They have celebrity crap too. We just get to see the supposedly "best" of their manga, because the really bad stuff will never be licensed. |

im embarassed that this moronic slut is has reached as far as japan. i just hope not many other countries know of her, and how we practically worship her here in america, becuase our reputation is already crappy enough as it is. i still dont understand why she's famous at all, but then again a lot of our culture, eg. celebrity worshipping confuses and sickens me.

I don't think most americans like Hilton; we're facinated by her trashiness. Most people probobly hate her, but without her what are they going to read in the gossip column? And spoiled, idiotic celebrities exist all over the world. And Hilton making America look bad is the least of our problems. |
