I just read on the Right Stuf website that the thinpack is scheduled to be released in January, I think, so I´m wondering if anyone actually picked this series up. Was it any good? I kinda liked Idolo but considering the box set has an MSRP of $50 and contains 26 episodes and a movie, I figured this is one of those series that didn´t do too good for ADV. I noticed their ¨crappy¨ shows, Rune Soldier - Kaleido Star - Final Fantasy Unlimited, are released with a cheaper MSRP than the good ones, RahXephon - Peacemaker - Full Metal Panic. I´m a fan of the games so I´m looking to pick these up but only if anyone actually has something good to say about it. But for $38, at Best Buy, I might just pick it up for the hell of it but I still rather hear your feedback.
I didn't really like Idolo but Dolores, i -the 26 eps TV series- is really enjoyable and funny IMO. The main character is one of my all-time favorites and there's not too much filler episodes, most of them expand on the overall ZOE universe actually, and in a rather interesting way. The plot follows the first OAV basically but can be watched independantly from Idolo though it's a good thing if you have watched it already: it helps to better understand the feeling of the relationships between Mars and the Earth as well as some other details concerning some characters more or less already seen into Idolo
Overally, it's very well done and really worth the watch: it's on my 'to-buy' list since day one. Thanks to have kept us informed about this release btw...

Well, I'm not a movie critic, but I know what I like and what I don't; and this title makes the really short list of ones I want to get ( thanks for the heads-up btw ). I enjoyed both Dolores,I and Idolo, so getting them both in one pack makes me smile . And Deep Discount has it for $33.24 if you're interested...

If there’s a theme to be traced in this volume, it’s the idea of when it’s okay to be two-faced.― When is it safe to be yourself? That's maybe a more intense question than you'd expect from Fall in Love, You False Angels, which is unquestionably a romantic comedy. With a very readable translation and art that’s pretty enough, this is an easy read.― Light novels certainly don't lack for terrible families.
