I really fail to see why anyone would want to watch hentai anime. I can appreciate porn as much as the next person, but I fail to see why anyone would want to watch it animated. This is especially true considering that many ignorant people think all anime is like that. Please give me your opinions on this matter and explain why anyone would like this to me?

Hmmm....I like some hentai....dunno that I can explain why. It just doesn't seem as 'gross' as pron. (No guys fwapping chicks with their naughty parts....no chicks spitting on said naughty parts (and I don't mean extra saliva...I mean SPITTING)....) *shrug*

Though most hentai are lame rehashings of the same gimmick/"plot" line/routine over and over again. There are a few exceptions. Very few. |

I really haven't got a strong feeling either way on hentai, or porn in general. I'm just not terribly interested (which has gotten me mightily chided...that and the "I don't drink" thing). But in terms of quality besides the sex part, the majority of hentai (I don't say all since there is always some little fact that some higher power doesn't what you to know so some schmuck can come along and make you look like an idiot), the only entertainment comes from how awful the attempts at plot and dialogue are. So if votes were called, I guess I would vote "bad" on hentai, but in the end it doesn't really matter.

That's like saying "Why would anyone watch porn? It has no plot!" The purpose of pornography is not to entertain with deep characters and believable situations. Porn has a very specific purpose. That's why I won't review Hentai; it isn't valid to treat it as a regular film, since it's designed with one very specific purpose in mind, and whether or not it does that well is entirely up to the person watching it.

What skipper is getting at is why watch cartoon characters having sex,surley it makes more sense to watch an actual porno.

Not at all. I've watched quite a few prons in my life. The new "fads" are seriously....having a guy fwapping a chick and the spit thing. I'd really rather not see either of those....and it's rather difficult to find pron that doesn't have it. However, of all the hentai I have seen....there has been no fwapping and no spit. |
