YES!!! I can't even begin to express my excitement through text! I never thought it would make it here, with the PS4 and all!

Are you really that surprised? Namco already said how well pre-orders were doing for the first one, so there's no reason that the second wouldn't make it over... Just because PS4 is coming out, doesn't mean that the PS3 is going to roll over and die. Tons of JRPGs got localized for the PS2 after the PS3 came out, after all. Now, if they actually announced one of the Vita titles to be localized then THAT would for sure be news, with everyone being babies about localizing stuff for it |

Well, the only direct sequel they've localized was Tales of Symphonia 2, and Symphonia was wildly popular in America at the time.
As for there console thing, I only really got into buying new games after the PS3 had come out already, so I didn't know. Sorry about that. And where did Namco Bandai mention the preorder figures? I'd like to see if it's not too much trouble. |

Various news reports like this one state that pre-orders for the Collector's Edition went SO well, that they made the first print run Limited Editions. The CE had sold out from retailers REALLY quickly, but then orders started switching around since not everyone wanted the figure with it. So yeah, it's been doing VERY well^^
Since you're into JRPGs and such, you should really follow Siliconera if you want to be in the know with the news |

Very nice to hear. Since this should be out here before the next Tales game comes out in Japan (or right around when it does), maybe they'll be able to get that next one out here much closer to its Japanese release.
Gematsu is another good one. |

Well this is surprising, I didn't think it was going to be announced this soon. I didn't think just due to preorders it was going to released this fast, but I'm not complaining. I hope they'll do another collector's edition. I wonder how long it'll take for people to start up the dual audio war.

But hey if you don't want to play and support Xillia's western release because it doesn't have dual audio, then well be stupid I guess. |

So far, I've seen that the only way to preorder the Collector's Edition now is to go to Namco's booth at conventions like Anime Expo. I can't find any for retailers anymore. Which is good since I got it from Amazon during the first wave.

Xillia 2, DanganRonpa, and Steins;Gate?! Anime Expo and Japan Expo have been good to my little niche game fan heart! I will definitely be pre-ordering!
