I haven't played the game before tbh but I like the premise and some of the character designs. Looking forward to this~

Heres hoping it turns out better then the Anime adaption of Disgaea did back in the day.

I'll agree there. In retrospect, I was probably expecting way too much from the Disgaea anime, and nothing could have met my expectations. Maybe the fact that Neptunia is at its core a parody will make it translate better into anime (and of course, the fact that the show makes no qualms about its otaku-pandering). Plus, as much as I like the character designs from Disgaea, they never quite looked right animated (since basically all of the art in the game was still images). At least we have some idea what the characters in Neptunia might look like animated. |

TOO HYPE Now I won't have to suffer through Compile Heart's inability to make good games and watch cute girls do funny stuff (which is 90% of the reason that anyone plays these games). |

Hmmm lots of people assumed that this would be based on Victory, but nothing seems to point out that it is. Good, I guess I don't have a deadline to beat Victory at before it comes out! Looks like it's just from the mk2 universe, maybe it's own story though?

I'm disappointed that Iffy is basically absent from the trailer other than being in the background of the static picture at the beginning. Though they always kinda ignore her and Compa in the trailers.

The CPU's are the "face of the band", so to speak. They're gonna be front-and-center every single time something related to the series is advertised.

That was a pretty nice trailer. It looks like the character designs will translate to the anime quite nicely. I'm pretty stoked for this
I've always assumed it will be its own thing and not an adaptation of any of the games, just like each game has been basically unrelated to the others (though Neptunia V seems like it might be partially set in the same universe as Mk2, but its not quite clear). The lack of Pururu in the trailer seems like a pretty surefire indication that its not based on Neptunia V, though even if she was in it, that wouldn't necessarily mean its an adaptation of V. |
