The 'Manners' video has been denied now. Guess they don't want foreigners watching it.

Why even bother uploading the video to YouTube if they don't want anybody to watch it, especially Gaijin scum like us? |

A guy who wears women's panties on his face teaching lessons on manners. That is extremely stupid. This makes "Ancient Aliens" seem less idiotic by comparison. I'm praying that someone doesn't decide to bring this to America or someone in Hollywood decide to remake this. It's just too dumb and unnecessary. To me,the whole thing is just plain stupid. Why did someone in Japan think that this was a good idea to do? It's just too idiotic to believe it's possible.

Yeah very much like how Japan won't upload J-pop music video on Youtube and that's why K-pop was able to conquered the world. If this was South Korea that made the movie, they would have heavily promote this movie outside of Asia to international audiences on Youtube. I feel sorry for Japan and their J-pop, they had opportunity to help J-pop get it's own "hallyu", I even wrote a topic about if J-pop can replicate the same success like K-pop outside of Asia. I could say the same for J-drama, I can find more K-dramas then J-dramas on sites like Hulu, Dramafever, and Crunchyroll. Hasn't Japan learn a thing from South Korea in term of cultural export. |

It's called a comedy. The goal is to make you laugh not to invoke some thought-provoking questions. Anyways, it might be good except the Japanese sense of humour might just make it more confusing. |

Too idiotic for those with American sensibilities. Know a lot of Americans who complain about British humor. Society, history, and culture has a lot of input on what people find funny. You may be right, and this is just a product for a specific Japanese niche audience, but I haven't the faintest idea either way. But if the U.S. can have the Toxic Avenger, then I wouldn't be surprised if this got picked up by an independent U.S. distributor. |

Both TarsTarkas and casualfan think I'm taking this too seriously. Maybe I am,but there have been better and much funnier ideas for comedies than this. Including superhero comedies. Stuff like "The Greatest American Hero,""Inspector Gadget,"and the Wayans Brothers comedy "Gadgetman" are good examples of this. "Hentai Kamen" is just too stupid to be funny.
The only ones in Hollywood I can even imagine either remaking this or doing something similar to this would either be the Farrelly Brothers or Mel Brooks in his prime. How would they handle this? I don't know. Are there others in Hollywood who handle something like this? Possibly, but why would anyone want to? |
