Good stuff. I saw the character from the cover somewhere else today and wondered who it was.

Meh, I'll pass. Personally not a fan of these type of dance remakes, and I already tried checking out clips on YouTube.

Yeah, not my type of thing anymore either, a bit too fast, but I applaud his efforts and it's cool that it's all officially licensed.
Here's their channel on youtube if you want to preview the cd (just scroll down a bit) http://www.youtube.com/user/diskowarprecords |

As am I, however I since I checked it out, the songs don't seem to be THAT bad especially since all that other crap iTunes has out for anime remixes. The only track I didn't like as much was Sorairo Days, however that was only the singing part, otherwise I would consider this a "meh" album. I highly doubt I'll buy it... I think I'll stick to my Para Para remixes of these songs instead. |

I think that it's pretty cool that these songs got licensed and released this way, but truth be told, I'd only be interested in the originals. I'd love it if more anime soundtracks were released in the US (it would sure save me money if nothing else), but after Geneon's demise, they've been rather lacking. Combine that with the trend towards no physical extras with DVD/BD releases, and virtually no anime soundtracks get released in the US. It's not particularly suprising I suppose, but it's definitely a shame. I spend a fair bit of cash on anime and manga, and I'm pretty sure that I end up spending more on anime-related CDs they I do on those. My wallet continues to weep...
In any case, this is a pretty cool story. |

My thoughts exactly. It wasn't too bad, either. I'm not a big techno or dance remix person, but I didn't exactly hate it. |
