I think this is the first live action anime movie I kinda want to see and I guess it's because it makes perfect sense to see BECK live action. Dangit, now I want to go and re-watch the anime while I'm waiting.

Wow i actually really like the cast they pulled together they look a ton like the actual characters and even maho's character looks pretty. great casting and cant wait to see

Love the anime series, this looks to be pretty fun as well. I wish the manga (a few volumes anyway) wasn't out of print here.

I hope it manages to get into TIFF because I don't want to wait 6 months to a year on top of waiting till September in order to see the movie.

What the movie is based on Ray who formed the band but isn't the leader or has the voice of god and can save souls and the main character like koyuki is. In the trailer it also looks like Ray is given koyuki the telecaster that Taira bought him in the anime and koyuki bought himself in the manga. I didn't see Beck in the trailer hope the producers know he is why their called Beck. I really hope this movie can do justice to the manga it deserves and doesn't feel like something an intern in the mailroom came up with.
