Cartoon Network doesn't do dubbing. Since Viz got the series, it'll most likely be Ocean Studios, which will mean they'll either translate every name, attack, etc. way too literally or change some of them entirely (i.e. Inu-Yasha), and give horrible direction to the voice actors resulting in the names that do remain intact being horrifically mispronounced (yeah, I'd expect we'll be hearing Monica Stori call Naruto "nuhROOOOdowe" about half a million times...). Basically, it'll likely be both tolerable and wholly irritating at the same time. |

I'm not sure how CN (Cartoon Network) plans to dub Naruto... I'm not disappointed that it was picked up but I will be very disappointed if it's anything short of Full Metal Alchemist... Even though it's not great Full Metal Alchemist is actually pretty good in the english version... So as long as they don't screw it up like they have many others, I guess I can live with it being dubbed..
