I've not heard of the latter and it doesn't look like Strawberry Eggs was ever licensed in Australia so your only option is ebay - there are copies of volumes 1, 2 and 4 on ebay.com.au at the moment (shipping from America) that look legit.

Since this is purely an Australian issue, I am moving it to the Australian General forum.

I'd suggest emailing Madman since they are VIZ's partner in Australia., and suggesting to import the titles. If you want them sooner than later, both are available at any North American retailer, so you could probably order them from amazon.com or rightstuf.com - while VIZ's webstore couldn't sell them to you due to their deal with Madman, it doesn't stop a secondary retailer from doing so. For the curious- Pretty Face is a 6 volume Shonen Jump manga about a deliquent boy who is in a horrific bus accident, and only survives to have the (perverted) plastic surgeon who saved him make his face look like the only picture on his person- a picture of the girl he has a crush on. He soon runs into her, and is mistaken for her missing twin sister (the fact that he's been in a coma for a long time and is rather thin/weak helps the look). Crossdressing hilarity and fake boobs ensue as he moves in with her family to maintain the charade, help find her actual sister, ward off unwanted advances while trying to figure out how best to break his crush and gender to his "sister" and try to save up money to have his real face restored. VIZ has released it all, and it's pretty hilarious stuff. |

Top Tip for Aussies, if you're looking for a book that can't be found goto http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/ as it's cheap and has free shipping anywhere!
Also, www.madman.com.au, if it's not there it might be soon as Madman are becoming the Australian Diamond Distributors, so all bookstores will be able to import the entire viz range through madman. In theory >.> |
