good - new titles coming to US
bad - no dubbing, minimum packaging, from value point of view, not much incentive to buy when there are fansubs...

Thats kind of a bummer, I was hoping that Special A would go to FUNimation at some point to receive the similar treatment that Ouran did. Now no chance of another excellent dub of a show about rich kids
Although I'm glad about Tears to Tiara, thats a show I would never buy in singles, but with a cheap thinpack I might buy it. (although 2 $40 packs doesn't make me all that happy as a 1 $50 dollar pack would)

DAMN IT, DAMN IT DAMN IT. I was hoping Funi would get Special A to go along with Ouran and School Rumble. But no Sentai got it and will release it in all it's dub-less glory.

The only incentive I need is "This is a legal and legitimate release that supports the show's creators."
Good job neo-ADV! Some of the titles look quite nicely niche and yuri-ish.
I'm kind of interested in Polyphonica, despite knowing barely anything about it, just because I like the character designs and one of the manga versions is coming out from CMX.

I'm tired of every yuri title going dubless on DVD. Seriously, if this is the new ADV I hope Funimation gobbles up their market share.

I guess all they can afford is crap these days. I can pretty much attest that pretty much nobody watched or cared about Blue Drop, same with the others. Special A might have a slim chance because the manga is out, but I doubt it. They were all shows that went unnoticed and for a good reason.
Although I am a little surprised by Tears to Tiara, since that one's actually good, and could have probably used a dub. Actually, it most certainly could have used one, as there's not a scrape of Jappo language anywhere, so nothing to really mess up. Shame that it'll only be a DVD, and thus inferior to what I've already seen.
As for yuri and other similar shows, yeah, let's dub them because they'll totally push 3,000 units just because it's dubbed.

Nothing relevant to my interests. Congrats to whoever wanted them.

Hmmm, I can't really remember if I liked Blue Drop or not.
I definitely didn't like Polyphonica and Special A though.
I'll probably end up getting Tears to Tiara at some point due to my love for most Leaf/Aquaplus anime adaptations (Utaware, To Heart, ComiPa, W.A., etc)

Hmmm. I remember wanting to get SA when I first watched it, but then the ending was a bit off, but I still found it interesting, I'll have to see if it was just a "OMG BEST THING EVAR" reaction or something I would want to buy. Though the no dub part (which begs me to ask, why do people think there will be no dub? Unless I missed something) actually lowers it a bit. Though to compare with Kannagi, I wanted that anyway, but still with SA I'm sitting on the fence as with those who were sitting on the fence with Kannagi. Though I know my friend will be happy to know this is licensed, though then sad again for no dub.
Will be interesting what else they license.

Yeah, I hope it happens again honestly. Really not interested in having another Media Blasters sub only company on our hands. As much as I liked ADV in the past, I really prefer dubs. I also could see fansubs really eating their profits if that's the way its going to be. Sentai Films seems to have been a way to sneak around dropping overhead from dubbing in way they think they could do it without angering their customers via changing the brand name.

ASDFGDS YES SPECIAL A IS LISCENED I LOVE YOU SENTAI. Sorry about that the fangirl in me took over I was waiting for this moment since I seen it fansubbed when it first came out now I can legally own it. Now if someone will get Ef A Tale of Memories and Ef A Tale of Melodies I can die happily.....

I'd never heard of Special A before - it sounds like it kind of has a His and Her Circumstances vibe (which I also haven't seen but plan to buy at some point). Let me add my at the lack of a dub for it.
