He's a Busy Man! Wasn't it announced that he was working with the former head of Madhouse doing something similar like yesterday or something?

So he IS working on two shows. My friends on twitter even said this one is being called a "space comedy". The MAPPA series he is doing i will look forward to but this has my attention right now. Hopefully its as much of a comedy as Bebop and Champloo were

Cowboy Bebop meets Fullmetal Alchemist? Honestly a space science-fiction comedy doesn't sound too far off. Of course, I doubt Watanabe would ever make something in the style of FMA.

Now that's what I call things coming back full circle. Watanabe was also part of Studio 2 of Sunrise, which split from the company to become Bones after CB was completed. So it's so nostalgic to see him back with Bones for a new original series. Hmm, though I'm wondering what Bones is planning....because just a few months ago, they announced that they are working on a new version of a familiar title, now they are also working on an original. Looks like it's gonna be a hella busy year.

Probably more along the lines of Cowboy Bebop meets Cowboy Bebop

I wonder about it, too. Maybe they are two different projects?

Man it's been years since they've done a show. Well, not really but coming from Shinichiro Watanabe. But looking forward to seeing what this project is.

Well, it's hinted that this new Watanabe/Bones collaboration is a space traveling comedy. Put two and two together, we have ground to speculate it may has something to do with Bebop. But either way it's great news for us fans~

More like he's making up for lost time. Before Kids on the Slope, dude hadn't directed anything for the better part of a decade now!
