Well, I was interested initially because heck yeah Moyashimon but that premise sounds weak, especially the whole losing your virginity = losing your powers thing. It sounds like something out of the average otaku anime, not Moyashimon... Hopefully they won't lean on that too much.

It wasn't a big part of the manga, plot-wise, more a running gag than anything. The story's more about Maria's attempt to use her powers to push for peace in the human world, which puts her at direct odds against Heaven's angels. Don't go in expecting this to be like Moyashimon, though, it's a different animal entirely.

I'll be honest. I only read this because the artwork kinda reminded me of Fullmetal Alchemist.
Still, wasn't bad.

Moyashimon doesn't run in Evening anymore, it switched to Morning Two recently.

I remember reading a chapter that was funny.
Two monks call Maria an evil lustful being that lures them into temptation despite the fact those two monks were gay and Maria caught them "in the moment" earlier. Talk about hypocrisy. lol

Yea, the way the article describes it can be misleading about its focus. For example, the part where Michael places that restriction on her doesn't happen until the end of the first volume. And it's not a focus of the series, at least as far as I've read. It just feeds into a running joke that's already there.
Another thing is, the article doesn't mention how much the series likes to take the piss out of the Catholic church

I was introduced to this series through ANN posting a livestream of the creator drawing it. The owls are cute/ wierd and it had some good action scenes. I'll definitely check it out

I'm happy to hear this is going to have an anime adapation! I've been really enjoying the manga
(Though judging from the anime cover, hope they don't add unnecessary fanservice)
